The Kumon study method for children was created by Toru Kumon, a high school math teacher in 1954. Concerned about his son's math results, he began making math worksheets to improve his son's learning.
Today, the Kumon method develops the student's fundamental skills in mathematics, reading, and English, as well as their ability to learn on their own.
