Today I will tell you in general terms what the letters and numbers on the pencils mean:
The "H" comes from the English word "Hard". It's a pencil that leaves little mark on the paper, ideal for initial sketches.
The "B" stands for Black, it's a softer pencil and you get a more intense black.
"HB" is a compromise between soft and hard, leaning towards soft.
"F" is firm like "HB", tending towards hard.
The most common ones are the "2HB" which are used for writing.
