Lápices Viking

VIKING was founded in 1910 as a subsidiary of the HE Gosh match factory. In 1913, VIKING was registered as a trademark. The following year, it became the market leader in pencils.

With the support of the Danish people, it managed to survive both World Wars. It experienced great progress, but in the 1970s it was absorbed and later acquired by other companies.

It was only in 2010 that it returned to Danish hands, regaining its place in the writing and stationery market.

Pencils in the photos:

*yellow 029: the most popular color in Viking and in Danish schools

*Cedar wood and clear lacquer. HB roll, for drawing

*Dark Red 400, Viking's second best-selling color.
