Viking was founded in Islands Brygge in Copenhagen (Denmark) in 1914 by Folmer Preisler, the company was dedicated to manufacturing Thunder Shield matches and pencils and was revived in 2010 by Creas.
Although some of their pencils are no longer manufactured in their country of origin, they are famous for their roots in Danish heritage.
